Interesting chapter focusing on Karashi and his master as the question is, why would you go to Rakugo to perform a false classic? The big thing for Karashi is that he searches for an equation to his problem, and that is a false classic. But to perform a false classic, he needs to know the classics, and that is where him learning under Ensou comes into play. He has the patience the other apprentices lack because they get frustrated if they don’t see immediate progress. It is similar to how it was for Akane early on.
Now the difference is that Akane focuses more on outlook while Karashi and his master focus more on form. Akane really sucks up Rakugo and can really immerse you in her performance, and Karashi can’t equal that skill. But Karashi is calculating, and this chapter illustrates that form counteracts outlook. Will be curious how they show what the difference in form from Outlook really is.
