This chapter gives a focus on the comparison of Edward & Lyndon as well as Eliza & Monica. In the case of both Edward & Lyndon both were bypassed by those in higher talents. The difference is Edward didn’t resort to dark magic to reach his ambitions. Though lies the difference.
In the case of Monica, it is clear that her grandpa enforced dark magic which resulted the doom of her family. That is sad, but at the same time as Eliza points out that doesn’t excuse her crimes. It does have me curious with how ruthless Eliza was, does she have a connection to the events of Monica’s family?
