In this episode we had two sides. Our trio of Sugimoto, Asirpa, and Shiraishi. Though the real interest in this episode surrounds Tanigaki & Tetsuzou. Tetsuzou is quite aware of the Matagi, which Tanigaki is from. He knows what his heart wants, which is why he wants to hunt Retar. As Tetsuzou is much the same. Though so much so he is nuts about the hunt of Retar. Even when it is revealed, Tanigaki hesitates, as this gives him an opportunity to make it back to the 7th. But it is here he chooses his roots.

On Sugimoto’s side, it is more luck that they run into Tetsuzou. Of course, Asirpa’s fear when she realizes they are hunting Retar. After all, she already lost her father. But now we’ve got a clash between Sugimoto & Tetsuzou, which should be interesting.

This episode covered the last 5 chapters of volume 3, that being 23-27. They are able to make the content of these chapters flow well, plus the sound direction is pretty on point.
