It looks like Tokiyuki isn’t done hunting down Takauji. More than likely part of it has to do with IRL history because Tokiyuki does die around this time. It is a struggle when writing a series based on historical context, as things playing out historically doesn’t make the best narrative story.
Still, it is good to see Kojirou living his life finally. Though Yoritsugu’s farewell to Tokiyuki is definitely the most emotional here. Remembering how spoiled Yoritsugu was at the beginning of the series, and now he is filling in the reins that Yorishige would be proud of. It looks like the series is entering its final timeskip with what should be the epilogue.
