It was probably mentioned before, but Clevatess is a baby compared to Vordin. It’s interesting that Clevatess’s knowledge of the world is closer to Alicia’s than Vordin’s. His time was more of peace compared to what Vordin went through.
At this point in the story we have the people of the lower stratum. While the people of Toah remained in the Upper Stratum and Celestial. So now only the people of the lower stratum remain. While the heroes themselves were forcibly resurrected to continue to fight over and over again.
Write is what Vordin refers to as the “True Hero”. Essentially he wrote the books to guide the people of Toah alongside the heroes. It seemed that he was the one who was able to resist the pain the other heroes had. Still even with all of this Write mentions this is only the beginning.
At the very least it is clear that Vordin wants to revive his ally in Write. What truly is Toah and why is it considered undying? What is Vordin’s true goal here? Why is Toah the source of the curse of the land? One aspect of this series is that the world is much bigger than what we have seen so far.
