“Love Unseen Beneath the Clear Night Sky” at its core is a boy meets girl story. Two college students Kakeru Sorano meets a blind girl named Koharu Fuyutsuki. Despite Koharu being blind this is a story more so of love. That is how love can bring a spark to someone’s life. This is one of the key themes this story executes and executes well. If you are a fan of beautiful emotional stories this is a perfect one for you.
Now production wise the anime isn’t the greatest, but it does enough. As the character animation is pretty expressive enough. With the terrific voice direction carries it quite well. For light novel readers, the anime is absolutely worth a watch as there are some anime-original scenes in the first half that elevate the early parts of the manga. The finale in particular enhances the ending of the manga really utilizing the visual medium of anime.
This show is beautiful. If you are the one who loves emotional storytelling this is one you have to try. Even fans of romance and/or drama should give this a try as well. I am sure you won’t regret it.
