This episode continues with Cheng’s acting as Fei. As they see Jack it seems Fei asked him to help him find a way to make money. But what is curious is how he acts after Cheng returns to the present. He takes care of the boss quickly which is interesting since he only should be adjusting back. Vein is back alongside Tianchen, which should mean Xiao Liu should be involved in this somehow. Fei coming to visit after all this does feel very staged.
The interesting part is the roommate of Fei who doesn’t talk. Unlike Tianxi though he can speak, but he has abilities where it seems to force actions on someone like stopping. The police seem to be on their trail after that incident, but curious more about who is the man meeting Officer Xiao.
At the end of S2 it became clear that Guang is hiding stuff from Cheng. Qiao clearly realizing there are things he is hiding. But the wording that Guang mentions is you can’t come back after 12 hours if Cheng goes in the past. So this is another lie where it seems Cheng was more at risk than he thought of. Very curious how the 3 of them proceed forward.
