Finally seeing Xiaoming and King Lie break through was good to see. Through Lie Xiaoming remembered what his goal is and who is depending on him. Admittedly, the series does have a habit to depend too much on him, but the side cast endured for long enough.
Most interesting was a reflection on Tian and his previous life. An abusive father and his talents never got acknowledged until he committed suicide. No doubt in his 2nd life Tian would have little patience in trusting people. Sadly King Lie is the one who genuinely would have. No doubt King Lie will blame himself, but there was too much stuff outside his control.
We finally heard Xiaoming mention that King Lie resides in his body which is a notable moment. I assume Xiaoming will want nothing to change, but just everyone to know this. Be curious about who truly is behind everything regarding the Fake King Lie.
