Through the show we have seen how Mari is around Lara. The biggest indicator of when the possibility that Lara could die. Lara filled a void in her life after her mom passed away.
Rowan’s behavior in contrast to Grace’s is alarming. He is very much cut and dry about his hatred for humans. It makes sense he would push Lara to kill as his own heart is cold. Perhaps he can’t view the solution that Grace wanted. I wonder if those feelings will finally kick in for Lara. Of course the pressure is on Lara still.
The subject of Lara’s love is difficult to wrap my head around. Her first thought is Mari, but Mari was her first connection to the human world. It is through Mari that she met so many people in her journey and has come to love them. I feel with the outlook on humans Lisa and Rowan feel compared to Lara is what the show might be going for.
At the very least Grace isn’t completely gone. Curious how it proceeds forward with the inevitable Mari-Lara reunion.
