It seems before we get to the point where we find out why Guang changed the past to save Cheng. It’s interesting we get some information about them before they start working together. But we do see Guang being punished for changing the past. Which adds intrigue because did this all happen in the past how did it get resolved?
We are back to more of the deal of Season 1 where we have individual cases. As a simple situation when the bags of Qiao and Miaomiao get missing. A small effect no doubt would have a big impact on Miaomiao’s life. No doubt reading comics had a huge impact on her and it is something she has a passion for. Not having her work would result in her losing confidence like we see with her mom. The trio making sure she got it gave her the courage and clearly this can push her to follow her dreams.
The other case regards to their friend Zhou Xun who is getting scammed by a woman named Vivian. While it is clear from the start that this is a scam. The look back from Vivian’s side with her conversation with Zhou leads to the conclusion that she made huge mistakes and she is too deep in it. It’s sad to think how some people can just ruin your life. Who knows what Zhou would have done if Guang, Cheng and Qiao didn’t look out for her? It can be a reminder there are two sides to stories and sometimes there is more to it than what appears on the surface.
In the last bit of this episode we see Cheng finding an envelope with his father’s name on it. This has me curious.
