Guang had a point for Cheng in that he had to steady his resolve if he wanted to find answers. Obviously this is their only lead, but no doubt Shanshan’s fate he ties in the balance makes the decision obvious. Though even if Qiao didn’t realize that it was him it was good for him to hear those words about him. He isn’t as calculated as Guang and is much more emotional. But he is the type of person they want to rally around.
Though the scene that Liu had was odd. He clearly isn’t someone who is innocent, so there is more to the story. Does he have some abilities? He clearly targeted Shanshan.
The last portion of the episode was intense with some fantastic directing. The plan that Cheng and Guang come with is unexpected and great. In the past Cheng did the same that he did when he was acting as Doudou where to ensure the safety of Shanshan. Though the more genius move is to trick the person who came into Shanshan’s apartment. Guang trapped him leaving Cheng coming back to take care of him.
