So it’s true that Ibara was not Itoma’s daughter. Itoma’s wife Nobara is the reason that Ibara came to live. While there is the guilt that it was because Ibara was born that both Nobara and her child ended up dying. It seems more clear that Itoma’s feelings on the matter are more complicated. He more likely than not cared for Ibara like his own daughter, but of course losing his wife and his blood related child is a burden that is great for many to lose. Hopefully we can see Ibara’s feelings reach for Itoma as she has everyones support.
