Very interesting to see this volume being spent mostly on the match between Aomori Seiran and Funabashi. In the first half Aomori Seiran employs a very defensive strategy. Their defense was essentially a 4-5-1 front. It makes sense that this formation would force Funabashi to be pushed to the flank. It’s pretty effective against Funabashi because we know their strength is counters and Aomori Seiran isn’t giving them that opportunity.

Though the most curious thing is that this is not in Aomori Seiran’s playstyle. That is the most shocking part of them all. Their coach is surely very intense. Very curious that the club’s strength is putting everything possible into winning. Having players who barely made the cut, but a coach can maximize not only his players but their time. One thing about their club is definitely they are the most efficient with the limited resources they have. In a way they could be viewed as stronger than Esperion.

What is interesting is how adaptive they are. As Funabashi adapts to the very defensive style of soccer, but playing more possession. We also see Aomori Seiran adapt to follow. Playing like Liverpool essentially adopted the playstyle that Funabashi started with. All things considered to make adjustments to this degree definitely puts a statement out there for both Esperion and Funabashi.

To top it all off there is Kitano Ren who has a very similar eagle’s eye that Ashito has. However one different thing is his technique. Ashito’s technique is one of the worst in Esperion’s A team while Ren is easily the best. Which again to the point is showcasing what Ashito could do if his technique improves. Still it’s good that despite that Ashito isn’t backing down.

As the match draws against Aomori Seiran one thing with Fukuda’s style of growth and prevention. Of course there is a pivotal match for Esperion coming up so no surprise that both Akiyama and Kiriki want to play here for pride. Quite interesting Akutsu to be the one to ask them to play here. I wonder if it comes down to the fact that all that Akutsu has is soccer.

With that being said Fukuda still wants his players like Kobayakawa to be looking for the best options to go pro. I still like how he leverages this match against Aomori Seiran. The players will be bound to have pride and they will want to win. You can tell he is a great motivator and for this match he is going in to win much more than he usually does. The Watford plan to start makes sense to see what Aomori Seiran is coming out in. It should make for a very interesting match.
