It’s interesting how the fake memories/dreams can be equivalent to reading a novel or watching a movie. Though for us, we can know the difference between that and reality.

I adored the whole Fuchikoma gathering scene. I love how expressive they are in this adaptation. Interesting to see the major trying to intellectually stimulate them. Meanwhile, the conversation between the one Fuchikoma and Batou as explaining the real world to the Fuchikoma is challenging to explain. As they are a machine who bases on things based on logic. Stuff like religion would feel foreign to them.

The conversation at the end of how Makoto is treated as a human, but is she really human. Though the fact that if you have a number of parts you can prove that you aren’t human. While in our world whether you are human or not is pretty cut and dry. The fact that all you need is a brain and prosthetic is both interesting and scary.
