Sayonara Lara – Episode 3

Directional values and production are so on point here. Every single moment has purpose to it. I liked the focus on Mari. She is a bit stubborn, but it feels like part of her charm. Her mom was her rock even with her issues when dealing with the other kids. I can’t imagine how it seems like losing her mom during that previous match must have affected her.

For Mari, in many ways, Lara is the type of friend she really needs. She needs someone to bring spark back to her life. Since she is very much isolated. Even something as silly as interrupting Mari’s match is good for her.

It seems clear as day, if it wasn’t already, that Mari is the person Lara is searching for. It will be interesting how Lara is starting next episode onwards. Clearly there will be new feelings building up in Lara given how the episode ends.
