Honestly, you can understand the perspective of Goro because he came from someone who had nothing. While you have Oniyasha, it can seem it is because of family ties that he is getting the opportunities. But it doesn’t maximize on them.
With that being said, how Goro handled it was poor. As the older man mentioned, his feelings are understandable, but it’s poor sport to take it out on him. After all, he is indebted to Oniyasha’s family. It does feel like Oniyasha is very close to figuring it out, but he is doing it in his own way.
