Sparks of Tomorrow – Episode 2

While I do like the pairing for Kihachi and Inako, as both character types are good for the other. This episode felt weird and awkward. I kind of would have assumed that Kihachi and Inako would have hidden a bit more time to know each other before they were eventually caught.

One clear thing about this episode is that everyone seems to have a connection to Kihachi’s brother. I will assume the copy is not fake, but perhaps it holds a clue to the 2nd half. At the very least, this hasn’t taken the direction I expected even if the execution feels awkward.
