We get to see Misumi’s plan of retreating in motion. A bit sad to see Kaku die, but his last moments of support for Misumi’s plan is what gave the push needed for people to have 100% faith. As such everything went well.
But things went too well. Smart play from Taira using Misumi’s plan for his gain. I liked how it shows him as a more competent antagonist then our first impression gave us. As long as Taira has power the nation is corrupted. Still good to see Misumi is as motivated as ever. Curious how Buo plays into all of this.
