Having the sight & Issho’s request are tied together. Issho is saying, “Show that you can win without making the audience laugh.” The key word here is making. It is easy to think this statement means without the audience laughing, but Akane biggest thing has been creativity. More essentially, Issho wants her to stick to the fundamentals of the classics and work with them. More than likely the “sight” is more of an understanding of purposeful Rakugo if I had to guess.
