In the opening pages we learn that Yuru and Asa are two twins that sunder the day and night. As their names mean “night” and “morning,” respectively. Though we learn throughout the volume that Asa and their parents left the village, leaving Yuru by himself. It is curious what he will do because Dera has known the truth but has kept that from Yuru. The sister he sought to protect he finally reunites with. We can see she genuinely is happy to see her older brother. But who is the group she is with, and what are they?
Daemons come in quite a variety, but it seems certain that they always come in a pair. Thus the “Left” and “Right” are the Daemons for Yuru. Still curious about who the Daemons are that Asa controls. Also interesting that Asa and Yuru’s powers are two opposites of a whole. Asa can break while Yuru should get the power to seal. Thematically it is interesting.
It makes sense for Yuru to seek out why his parents didn’t take him when they escaped with Asa. Though getting busted in a trap is definitely not the situation to be in.
