Ascendance of a Bookworm: I’ll Do Anything to Become a Librarian! Part 2 – I’ll Even Join the Temple to Read Books! – Volume 3

As Myne helps the kids in the orphanage, it looks like things are working themselves into place. Even while showing as a good teacher, she created the Diptych. Which is what kids use to practice writing to play in the modern world. Obvious in the fantasy setting, this is a genius invention to help learning. Also, inventing learning through pictures is another notable great idea, as that is what is used to help kids learn in the modern world. Through that you see how things that Myne took for granted, like art and music, are things only a selected few can do.

Though once again we see the differences between noble society and commoners. They each hold an event, but it is different. For the nobles, they have the Starbind Ceremony. Where it is a celebration of marriage. While for commoners it is the Star Festival. Which, like the Starbind Ceremony, also groups the newlyweds, but everyone else tries to throw taues at each other. It shows the difference where nobles are more serious and have more structure. While commoners are a more collective group and more relaxed.

It is good of Myne to want to give the kids in the orphanage their own Star Festival; after all, they are not nobles. Really shows that she makes for a good leader, but one of the taues ended up being a trombe of some kind. Well, sadly, Myne overlooked the temporary damage that she caused. At the very least the High Priest noticed, but hopefully he is the only one who noticed.
