Karashi gives out a great performance, and we can see how animated he is. Which is a level more than we’ve seen from Akane or Hikaru recently. Akane wants to prove that her father’s Rakugo was indeed more than good enough for Issho, and Hikaru aims to beat Akane. Though Karashi was someone who wasn’t super into it initially, he aims to create his own classics. It’s clear he came to love Rakugo and you can tell that he understands the classics. For the simple fact that he wants to create his own classics, that’s where his passion is. He doesn’t just want to be at the top of the level but create stuff that other Rakugo strive to perform for years to come.
