A more episodic episode as the party adventures further in the Northern Region. Learning a bit more of Himmel as he accepts payment for jobs he does because he doesn’t want people to feel indebted to him. Which is fair. It is really nice how the episode connects the notebook that they received as a reward and now Frieren obtains it.
This episode adapted chapter 77 minus the Denken conversation with Edel and Lernen. Granted, it is very likely they will end the next episode at that final scene in chapter 77. They also fully adapted chapter 78. It’s very clear that they aim to start S3 at chapter 81.
