This episode served as another example of why Aramaki is their leader. Though it is a fucked scenario, the kidnappers kidnapped the daughter of one of their biggest supporters. It begs the question of what if this wasn’t Kanzaki’s daughter? Then tracking down this group would have been much harder. No mistake that Kanzaki himself is awful, but Aramaki wanted to bet on whether he would choose his daughter over his political career. He made a smart bet here.
