At the event, everyone’s eyes are on Issho. Just the way he handles himself in everything he does is for the art of Rakugo. I think this arc will be more for Akane to understand and perhaps empathize with Issho in terms of his goals. The one thing Akane misses is that Issho didn’t value her father’s Rakugo.
I do worry that Akane going all in again and focused on beating Issho. I feel we are seeing more and more of Akane losing sight of why she wanted to do Rakugo in the first place. As Makieru said, I would like to see Akane just having fun with Rakugo.
