Quite the interesting blend of action and a dash of romance. For Hikaru, who is a hitman who specializes in poison, which is the clan’s specialty. Well, an idea is either the son who hates marriage extends the line or the lesbian daughter gives up her love. Hikaru showing when push comes to shove he will protect his sister’s happiness is really sweet.
The ironic part of Hikaru’s sister being a lesbian comes from the fact that his new partner is Mei. Who is a guy who can dress as a woman or man? Essentially makes the perfect one to help Hikaru on his quest to find a partner. Though Hikaru is more doomed in this quest than anyone could have suspected. The motivation is clear for Mei in that he will do what it takes to aid his ill brother.
The plan at the end of the volume is to save Himekawa but will it be as easy as it says it is?
