Kamiya is a particular case; someone shuts down her feelings, which just causes her pain. As Yuu was the first one that would notice her true self. Still the fault is hers that she closed off people for so long; they noticed it too, but she zoned them out after her first conversation with them. Having Micchon to talk to is a big confidence boost because even if Kamiya can’t love Yuu she still wants to return his kindness. Micchon supporting Kamiya is good because she loves Yuu, but she wants him to shine on his own, which he has grown into. Keeping Yuu tied down from others isn’t good for his growth. These types of love triangles are a bit sloppy, but a reminder that the girl who isn’t chosen has feelings that are real.
The rest of the volume is about how Yuu and his friends are making the transition to 3rd years. Curious how that goes. I do like the focus on Miyabi at the end of the volume. Despite her cold exterior, she has a warm heart just like her daughter. Much like Makoto her kindness isn’t shown on the outside, but she loves her kids so much.
