At the start of the volume, we got to see Yuu & Micchon watching a movie with Motoko. Where we see Yuu crying eventually gets Micchon to cry as well. Brings a fun reflection to the bonus chapter in volume 7 where Yuu’s parents were watching a movie when they were younger. As Yuu takes after his father, Akisada crying when they watched the movie made Motoko cry.
It was quite interesting to see both of the moms become fast friends. It very much has the resemblance of Yuu & Micchon’s dynamic. With how awkward Miyabi is and how it was stated Motoko doesn’t have friends her age, it is good that these two became fast friends.
Throughout the series so far, Inuzuka has been the most dedicated member of the friend group. We are introduced to Isana who is Inuzuka’s senpai at his part-time job. It seemed his dedication isn’t just something as mere as he aims to become a veterinarian. Though it is clear that seeing Inuzuka’s friends made Isana jealous. Having friends and family to support can be a big help, and it appears she has been on her own.
